Enterprise Holdings

World War II decorated Navy fighter pilot Jack Taylor started Enterprise Holdings in 1957 with only seven rental cars. Lessons he learnt in the military-including the values of integrity, hard work, team spirit and doing the right thing-made their mark on the company he founded. He even named the company after the ship on which he served-the USS Enterprise.

Today the company includes the Alamo, National and Enterprise brands and operates a global network that covers nearly 100 countries, with nearly 80,000 dedicated team members and nearly 1.7 million rental vehicles.

With 9500 car rental locations around the world, including more than 50 U.S. military bases, Enterprise provides unique opportunities for transitioning service members and military spouses to pursue their careers anywhere the military might take them.

and a committed partner of the national Military Spouse Employment Partnership (MSEP).

The company's Management Trainee Program is another tool created to support career transition for service members and their spouses. It is designed to bring people into the industry without prior experience and provide a clear career path to leadership within the company.

Today, more than 13,000 of the company's employees are veterans and over 2000 team members are military spouses.
