Synchrony Financial

Synchrony Financial is a consumer financial services company headquartered in Stamford, CT. The company offers consumer financing products, including credit, promotional financing and loyalty programs, installment lending to industries, and FDIC-insured consumer saving products through Synchrony Bank, its wholly owned subsidiary. Synchrony traces its roots to 1932 when GE Capital Retail Bank was started during the Great Depression. In 2014, Synchrony Financial was debuted on the New York Stock Exchange.

Today the company has 70.7 million active customer accounts and over 18,000 employees.

Synchrony has been the recipient of many awards thanks to the supportive culture the company built for its employees. Awards include the Best Workplace 2022 for Parents, Great Place to Work 2022 and Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work for 2023.
