While 2020 wasn’t the year anyone could have imagined, especially as Designs for Dignity marked 20 YEARS OF IMPACT this year...We hope that as the year comes to a close you take time to celebrate the milestones – both big and small.

D4D is close to meeting our fundraising goal for our annual fund. Will you help us reach one last 2020 milestone by making a tax-deductible donation?

This year, D4D donors and volunteers have helped us continue our mission of empowering lives through design. While COVID gave us some speed bumps to navigate - we were able to secure $1M in donated furnishings and enhance spaces for several nonprofits this year....

  • We completed work with Enlace Chicago for their new community center in Little Village.
  • We transformed the lounge space for HODC's affordable housing at Claridge Apartments in Evanston.
  • Created a "bougie" kitchen and teen lounge area at The Night Ministry in Wicker Park.
  • Refreshed several CILA (community living group homes) for adults with developmental disabilities throughout greater Chicago.
  • Helped Lake County Children's Advocacy Center with expansion of medical exam and admin spaces.
  • Renovated Fleetwood Jourdain Community Center in Evanston for the youth and seniors served in the space daily.

We are proud of what our supporters have helped us accomplish in a year that required constant innovation and resilience.

Thank you for your continued support of D4D as we close out 2020 and look ahead to the possibility of a new year!

Together, we are empowering lives through design.
