edWebinar Presenters
Presented by Michael P. Nagler, Ed.D. , Superintendent of Schools, Mineola Public Schools;
and Andrew Casale , Principal, Mineola Middle School
Mineola Public School students were the winner of the 2019 SETDA Student Voices Award. How did school administrators help to empower students to earn this exceptional recognition? In this edWebinar, learn from Superintendent Michael Nagler and Mineola Middle School Principal Andrew Casale how their district leverages digital tools and resources to personalize instruction for each student through design thinking models and project-based learning opportunities. Administrators will share how Mineola integrated technology, changed teaching approaches, and varied learning experiences to best meet the needs of learners in the digital age as they prepare for college and the workforce. The district has been strategic about shifting budgets, supporting innovative professional learning opportunities, and has a commitment to student-driven learning to transform learning. Specific examples will be provided by Mineola Middle School on how design thinking drives instructional opportunities in their middle school.

This edWebinar will be of particular value to kindergarten through high school teachers, and school and district leaders. There will be time to have your questions answered at the end of the presentation. Learn more .
