On September 4th 2025, the Gloucester County Workforce Development Board hosted the Golden Opportunities Job & Volunteer Fair at the Gloucester County Library. This job fair is geared towards individuals 60+ looking for job and volunteer opportunities throughout the county. Over 200 job seekers attended! Thank you to all of the agencies and companies that joined us.

RCSJ Career & Technical Education

Phlebotomy Course

This course covers essential skills like venipuncture, capillary techniques, and healthcare ethics. Students also complete 40 live blood draws and qualify for the NHA Certification Exam. Graduates are also eligible for a clinical externship at a local healthcare facility. Program starts October 28.

CPR

Learn life saving skills with this hands on CPR course. You'll gain confidence in high quality CPR for adults, children, and infants and be able to recognize life threatening emergencies. Perfect for healthcare professionals and community responders alike!

ServSafe

This training course prepares you for the official ServSafe exam which is administered at the end of the class. Learn essential food safety practices that meet New Jersey regulations and earn your certification as a Food Safety Manager.

Pathways to Recovery


The Pathways to Recovery Program, funded by the NJ Department of Labor, supports services for individuals impacted by the opioid crisis. The program provides participants with career services, support services and career training to prepare them for employment in in-demand industries.

Driving Simulator Course


The Driving Simulator Course assists with both the written and driving practice, offering support throughout the process. If participants pass their written test and simulator evaluations, CIL will cover the cost of six hours of behind the wheel training, after which the company will help them obtain their permit.
