To ensure the health and safety of our staff and children, we are following the travel guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Although California no longer has a travel advisory, staff and children will be expected to follow travel guidelines from the CDC when traveling outside of the state.
A. Individuals who are unvaccinated are encouraged but not expected to get tested with a viral test 3-5 days after travel and stay home to self-quarantine for a full 7 days after travel.
- If the test result is negative, individuals need to stay home and self-quarantine for the full 7 days.
- If the test result is positive, individuals must isolate for 10 days to protect others from getting infected.
- Individuals who do not get tested must self-quarantine for 10 days after travel.
B. Fully vaccinated individuals do not have to quarantine unless they are experiencing symptoms.
C. Fully vaccinated individuals are recommended to get tested 3-5 days after international travel.
We plan to follow these guidelines until they are revised by public health officials. We appreciate everyone's cooperation.
