CELEBRATING WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH
Women inventors and entrepreneurs, like Marie Curie and Ariana Huffington inspire creativity, strength, and bravery. Central Virginia's women entrepreneurs are changing our communities in record numbers! Of the 829 entrepreneurs that were served by Central Virginia SBDC in 2021, more than half (452) were women.

Please join us in supporting and celebrating our hometown women who are building businesses that create jobs and make our communities stronger and special.
Diane Arnold Retires
In this newsletter, we send retirement wishes and gratitude to a great and respected woman in the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) network, Diane Arnold. Diane advised more than 3,000 entrepreneurs in her award-winning career. She warmly shared her knowledge, advising people to "make original mistakes" rather than those that are common in starting and growing a business.

Diane, we are grateful for generously giving your time, wisdom, and brilliant energy. We wish you joy, and great adventures ahead!
