Our Ummah is facing unprecedented challenges. The Prophet (s) once said: “This nation of yours has been granted well-being in its beginning, but the latter generations will be afflicted with trials and affairs you will recognize as evil. Tribulations will come one after another…” (Sahih Muslim)

In this increasingly challenging world, the importance of strong and ethical leadership has never been more pronounced. Together, with your support, we can continue to train and nurture leaders who can adeptly navigate these complex realities—bringing resilience, compassion, and progress to communities across the globe.

North Texas Islamic Council (NTIC) leadership meeting

Sr. Aliya Nehal, TISA's Director of Operations, and Sr. Shazia Aslam, TISA's Administrative Coordinator, represented The Islamic Seminary of America at the most recent North Texas Islamic Council (NTIC) leadership meeting held on October 26, 2023. Representatives from (35) Dallas-Fort Worth-area organizations convened to renew their commitment to the unity of the Muslim community in the DFW Metroplex. NTIC Board Members, Imams, Scholars, Community Leaders, and Activists met at the MAS Youth Center in Richardson. NTIC is the only umbrella organization that strives to "Facilitate Collaboration, Communication, Cooperation, and Coordination Among Member Organizations". As an Islamic institute of higher education, we are honored to be part of community collaboration efforts that support all of our fellow Masjids, institutes, and organizations.
Once accepted, students can apply for financial aid anytime. We understand that students’ financial situations change abruptly. We partner with 10 different Islamic organizations to provide tuition-free scholarships to people they identify who meet TISA’s admissions standards.

TISA has a policy to never turn down a regular student because of financial reasons.
