Your generous support enabled us to conduct two transformative agricultural training sessions in Subukia and Kasten, which were attended by over 150 local farmers. These sessions offered insights into pest and disease control, livestock farming techniques, and climate-adapted agricultural practices tailored for arid areas.
By adopting these new skills, farmers developed an improved capacity to implement sustainable farming practices, leading to increased crop yields. This not only ensures food security within each community, but contributes to economic stability through increased agricultural productivity, helping the people of both Subukia and Kasten achieve sustainable livelihoods.
Agriculture stands as the cornerstone of Kenya's economy, providing not just employment but also a lifeline for food security in many of the communities we serve.
