Circle of Wise Women Members Volunteer in JA Finance Park
Keeping up the tradition of influential women in our community giving back, we applaud members of the JA Circle of Wise Women who recently volunteered in JA Finance Park. Shout-out to Kim Sarni, Christine Speedy and Sheila Valenti for volunteering their time. They spent the day teaching students financial literacy skills and about different career pathways. Girls Rule: Ignite Your Superpower monthly celebration was a major success! More than 300 high school girls from Plantation and Dillard High Schools were engaged in mentoring sessions. The Women's History Month initiative culminated in a Celebration Party on March 22nd with 150+ community leaders and advocates sharing their superpowers.

Junior Achievement Receives Non-Profit of the Year Award
211 Broward presented Junior Achievement of South Florida the Memorial Healthcare System Non-Profit Organization of the Year Award. The presentation was made at their recent 11th Annual Community Care Plan Non-Profit Awards Ceremony. The awards celebrate the inspiring work of Broward County’s non-profit agencies and recognize the individual efforts of outstanding non-profit executives and board leaders.
