January 2023

As as Settlement agency, our job is to listen to our clients' needs and provide information and resources customised to their particular situation and interests. With time and effort, we continue to developed programs that fill in the gaps of what was needed but not available to all.

Through our services, and with the help of our community, we are able to empower newcomers to be confident, grow, connect and contribute to their environment, break barriers, take up space in the world and live their best Canadian life.

Women of Courage: All of Our Stories

In 2021, CultureLink initiated the Women of Courage: All of our Stories project. This initiative welcomed racialized immigrant women to an immersive program of self-discovery, anti-racist engagement and creative expression. The participants created a collection of deeply personal narratives that will be exhibited in various Toronto museums. This exhibition documents their experiences with migration, settlement and life in a social landscape dotted with systemic racism and patriarchy.

CultureLink's Anti-Racism Action Program is an initiative that aims to promote Canada’s cultural diversity. Women of Courage: All of Our Stories is the first project.
