Empowering Our Community: A Year of Growth and Support
Dear Friends,
As we reflect on the past year, we are filled with gratitude for the incredible milestones and moments that have shaped Tough Warrior Princesses. Thanks to your unwavering support, 2023 has been a year of growth, impact, and heartfelt connections. Here's a look at some of the highlights:

Warrior Baskets, Chats, and Yoga
Our Warrior Basket Program, our largest initiative, has seen remarkable growth this year. We're thrilled to report that we distributed a total of 283 baskets, each valued at $600 or more, to individuals facing cancer diagnoses or recurrence. These baskets offer valuable comfort and support, providing practical items and resources to aid them in their journey. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Amesbury Industrial Supply for their generous space donation, which has been instrumental in allowing us to create these incredible baskets. We also appreciate the support of Eighteen Friend Street in Amesbury and NewFed Insurance in Danvers for serving as basket pick-up locations.
In addition to our Basket Program, our monthly Warrior Chats, sponsored by Linden Financial and with special thanks to Ovedia Artisan Chocolates, continue to provide a safe and supportive space for our community to connect and share. These gatherings have played a key role in fostering camaraderie, understanding, and friendships among our community members.
Furthermore, our monthly Warrior Yoga sessions, made possible in part by Ride the Wave Yoga studio, have offered moments of peace and rejuvenation. These sessions have provided a nurturing environment for our members to find solace and strength.

New Partnerships and Collaborations
In 2023, we forged a new partnership with Farm & Sea in Amesbury, who not only provides us with beautiful basket products, (candles and lotions) but also generously donates to our cause. Farm & Sea's mission is to provide simple, beautifully-scented products that enhance our everyday life. Their brand uses the power of scent to evoke memories, create moods, and uplift and relax.
We also benefited from initiatives like the Amesbury Stop & Shop Shopping Bag Program and the Salem NH Police Pink Patch Program.

Mo's Merry Christmas wrapped up an amazing year
As the year came to a close, Mo's Merry Christmas was a heartwarming testament to the spirit of giving. We were overwhelmed by the generosity of those who donated items and funds, making this event a beautiful success for two extremely deserving families.

Board Member and Personal Milestones
|
In 2023, Tough Warrior Princesses welcomed a new board member, Vicky Sherwood, LICSW, RYT-200, who brings valuable expertise and passion to our cause. Vicky has an extensive background in business as well as in social work. She currently owns a practice in Amesbury. Vicky facilitates our Warrior Yoga classes.
We also celebrated the miraculous journey of board member, Megan Tierney, a cancer survivor, who just welcomed twins against all odds after her battle with cancer.

In the coming year, we are excited to build on our successes and expand our impact. We continue to remain an all-volunteer organization. We are committed to enhancing our presence and messaging to ensure that our mission resonates clearly with our community. We are currently working on a new tagline. Your feedback will be invaluable as we embark on this journey.
|
Finally, we want to express our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who has supported us throughout the year. Your contributions, whether big or small, have made a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by cancer. We are honored to have such a supportive community by our side. We are wishing you all peace, love, and healing in 2024.
Best,
The Tough Warrior Princesses
