At thesecondopinion (TSO), we are dedicated to improving our services and evaluating our impact. From 2020 to 2022, we conducted a study to understand why cancer patients seek a second opinion from TSO and the benefits they gain from it. Our aim was to discover the reasons patients seek another opinion and how it assists them.

By allowing patients to pose questions to our panel of specialists, the study sought to determine if it enhanced their knowledge, provided reassurance, reduced anxiety, and improved their overall experience. We also explored which specific elements of the thesecondopinion experience address these needs. Ultimately, the study showed how second opinions can equip patients with valuable information to make better health decisions. We are excited to share the results with you.
