SCTPO Posts FY 2021 DRAFT Project Priorities
The SCTPO recently developed the FY 2021 DRAFT List of Project Priorities (LOPP). SCTPO staff worked with members of the Transportation Subcommittee to develop a draft list that builds on the list from the previous year.  The LOPP contains a list of unfunded highway, technology and bicycle and pedestrian projects.

2045 Long Range Cost Feasible Plan Open for Public Review
In early 2020, the SCTPO gathered input through multiple public meetings and a survey asking public citizens how they thought specific transportation needs should be prioritized in our 2045 Long Range Transportation Plan.

Now, we’ve developed a DRAFT Cost Feasible Plan , which allocates dollars to various roadway, safety, pedestrian/bicycle, and transit projects in Brevard County. The Cost Feasible Plan lists a balance of prioritized project costs with estimates of transportation funding over the next 25 years.

Now, we’re asking public citizens to review the plan and to provide any comments related to the projects in the Plan. For more information, please visit www.voiceyourvisionbrevard.com and c heck out the above explainer video to learn about where we are at now in the  #2045LRTP .
Now Available! 2019 Traffic Counts
The SCTPO has officially released its  2019 Traffic Counts . The SCTPO engages in an extensive traffic counts program to monitor traffic level on major arterial and collector roadways in Brevard County. The program is conducted from October to February each year.

Count results are maintained in an  Interactive Traffic Count Database  System that provides current and previous year traffic volumes, count location details, trends, graphs, reports, and maps.

Traffic counts are used by private citizens, local businesses, local government concurrency management systems, and in the  State of the System Report   (SOS). To review the historical trends on our roads, check out the  2010 - 2019 Traffic Counts Historical Report .
