SCTPO Launches Vision Zero
Interactive Map to Track Traffic Issues
|
As part of the Space Coast TPO's Vision Zero Project, staff has created an interactive map to track public comments on traffic safety concerns in Brevard County.
Do you know of areas where you see frequent aggressive driving? Know of places where landscaping creates a visual barrier, or just areas that you don’t feel safe while driving, bicycling and walking? Please leave your comments on this map:
Brevard County Interactive Map.
Public comments will help contribute to agency review of potential issues and problems, which will lead to a safer roadway system for all road users.
*Please note that the map is not real time.
For more information about the map, please contact Kim Smith, Vision Zero Project Manager, at 321-690-6890 or

Article Feature: Respiratory Signature While Bicycling
|

What does respiratory signature look like as you ride? Perhaps it's time to be thinking about a mask or facial covering while you ride, run or walk.
"Picture if you can – you’re zipping along on your bike, your lungs are working hard, you’re exhaling hard through your mouth. The entire time, your respiratory signature is not just a stationary, six-foot sphere around you, but it turns into a comet-shaped trail while you’re at speed."
