The Lac Courte Oreilles Tribal Governing Board (TGB) unanimously approved the policy which states any person staying in one of the aforementioned homes when there is no longer an immediate emergency or no longer has Covid, they will be required to pay $500 per month for a 90-day lease, which will include utilities.

TGB Approves Old Forest Products as New Roads Department Building
By Joe Morey
News Editor
At their Feb. 6 Lac Courte Oreilles Tribal Governing Board (TGB) meeting, the TGB approved designating the old forest products and salt shed behind the LCO Country Store on Hwy E as the new location for a Transportation/Roads Department Building, and also to apply for a grant to rehab it.
Jason Weaver came before the TGB and said the plans are preliminary, but it would be a great site. It would be used as a training facility and also the building has lots of office space and we’d need the large garage bays.
“We can do maintenance, oil changes and all in-house,” Weaver explained.

On Anniversary of the Affordable Care Act, Evers Shares Plan to Expand BadgerCare
Gov. Tony Evers today delivered the Democratic Radio Address on the 13th anniversary of the passage of the Affordable Care Act, highlighting his plan to expand BadgerCare and provide healthcare coverage to nearly 90,000 Wisconsinites.
Hey there, Governor Tony Evers here.
13 years ago, the passage of the Affordable Care Act transformed our country, ensuring millions of people right here in Wisconsin have life-saving healthcare coverage.
But unfortunately, there are still folks who have been left behind—whether due to cost, eligibility, or access.
Every Wisconsinite deserves access to quality, affordable healthcare. Period.
That’s why expanding access to healthcare and addressing health inequities has been a priority for my administration since the very first day.
