San Dieguito Water District Awards Winners of the North County Water Agencies 4th Grade Water Awareness Poster Contest

Water is life
Recycle to keep our oceans clean
Don't be mean, keep water clean

The Board of the SDWD proudly announces the winners of its annual 4th Grade Water Awareness Poster Contest, a regional program in which participating North County water agencies celebrate students whose artwork will be showcased in the widely distributed North County Water Agencies Water Awareness Calendar, available at City Hall, the Community Center, and the Water District office at 160 Calle Magdalena. The calendars should be available by January 2027.

This year’s honored students include third place winner Emalani Shen, who shared, “I love water because it helps me live!”, second place winner Harlow Hoeck, who expressed appreciation for clean water for bathing and play, and first place winner Summer Chan, whose message highlighted water’s vital role in helping all things live, grow, and have fun.

SDWD extends heartfelt congratulations and thanks to all participating students for their creativity and contributions to water awareness.
