2 New Maximum Controls Slide Gate Operators

Encon is thrilled to offer the latest gate operators from Maximum Controls: the MXG 1800 FS and MXG 2300.

MXG 2300

The MXG 2300 is a high-traffic, heavy-duty 24V brushless DC slide gate operator that equals the core performance of the Max 2200 PRO Series while delivering improvements.

MXG 1800 FS

The MXG 1800 FS is a high-traffic, heavy-duty 24V brushless DC slide gate operator that equals the core performance of our Max 1700 FS Pro Series. It features

FAIL-SAFE, back drivable manual operation upon loss of AC power or battery.

Both the MXG 2300 and MXG 1800 FS are engineered with anti-corrosive materials to deliver continuous cycle operation in extreme temperatures, including a polymeric polyethylene, military brown cover, a fully sealed control box, and the OMEGA I board.

The new board features a simplified dashboard interface, fast-charging capability, OBD port for diagnostics, and a spring-loaded door design for board adjustments.

September 11-13, 2025

The California Fence Contractors Association (CFCA) Q3 meeting is taking place from Sept. 11-13 at the Peppermill Resort in Reno, Nev.

Sign up to participate in the various activities including the Golf Tournament, Board Meeting, Training, Dinner, and Auction.

Jeffrey Harris to Provide Training

Encon's Jeffrey Harris will be conducting the training at the CFCA event. The class will cover Solar Power for Gate Automation and will include the following topics:

·     Metering panels & batteries

·     Best panel placement

·     Figuring current draw (including accessories)

·     Battery management

·     Basic troubleshooting

A Q&A will follow so attendees can get real-world questions answered. The class will be held Saturday after the Board Meeting.

The Fence Show & Security Expo

October 1-3, 2025

The Fence Show & Security Expo will take place at the Expo Hall in Las Vegas from Oct. 1-3, 2025. The event will include educational sessions, and 150 exhibitors who will be showcasing a wide array of products. Attendees will also have a chance to enjoy the social festivities including Strip Night in Las Vegas on Wednesday and the Homeland Party on Thursday.
