Voting Safely During COVID-19 Tips
The NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene have compiled a list of tips to help you vote safely in this election during the COVID-19 pandemic. Check them out here.
Mask Up! Campaign
New York State is partnering with The RealReal and dozens of New York fashion designers to launch “Mask Up” – a campaign to benefit COVID-19 relief efforts and encourage everyone to wear masks. The profits will benefit Feeding America, the New York COVID Relief Fund, and Nurse Heroes. All are invited to join and help encourage people to wear a mask by posting a mask selfie, sharing why they #MaskUp, and challenging five friends to do the same. Learn more here.
Get Your Seasonal Flu Vaccine
As the flu and COVID-19 will likely circulate at the same time this season, getting a flu vaccine is more important than ever. Although the flu vaccine will not prevent COVID-19, it will help decrease the risk of you and your family getting sick and needing flu-related medical care. Find more information on where to get a flu vaccine here.
National Cybersecurity Awareness Month
October is National Cybersecurity Awareness Month, which continues to raise awareness about the importance of cybersecurity across our Nation, ensuring that all Americans have the resources they need to be safer and more secure online. Click here to learn more and to find cybersecurity resources.
