Update On Our Second Campus
St. Therese will officially expand to a second campus as of July 1st, 2019. We are very excited to grow and welcome more students and their families into our Blue Ribbon Award-winning community!
We continue to recruit new students in grades Prekindergarten through 7th grade. We will have one class for each grade at the St. Barbara Campus, and enrollment opportunities remain in all classrooms.
Over the summer, we will be doing some much-needed upgrades to the technology infrastructure, some overall maintenance and organization of the facility, and work in the classrooms to prepare them to support our teachers and students this fall. As we have mentioned before, both campuses will be officially St. Therese Chinese Catholic School, and both campuses will be following the same academic curriculum and programs, the students will wear the same uniforms, and all of us will share the same school pride!
Summer is also our time to finalize plans for how the two campus communities will interact as one. Celebrating mass together, participating in extracurricular sports and classes, and sharing some of the many special school celebrations and activities are some of the areas in which we expect to see our students praying, working, and playing together.
Our School Board and the St. Barbara Board of Specified Jurisdiction met together, as did our SFA and the St. Barbara equivalent, the Ladies Guild to begin the work of planning together for the 2019-2020 School Year. This work will continue over the summer to bring the two communities together for a successful school year starting this fall.
