Presidents Message:

Dear Parents, Families and Friends,

Welcome Back!

We are excited to begin another amazing school year and continue our theme, “Today, Tomorrow, Together.”

Today, we celebrate new beginnings. Tomorrow, we look forward to helping every student learn, grow, and thrive. And together, we continue building the strong, connected community that makes Hankey so special.

Thank you for your continued support, involvement, and Hankey spirit. We can’t wait for the wonderful year ahead and the opportunity to connect with all of you!

Today. Tomorrow. Together!

Warmly,

Michelle Goold

All varieties of muffins, donuts, and pastries are welcome. Coffee has been generously donated by ChocOBean Coffee!

Boo Hoo Woo Hoo

We invite all of our TK, Kinder, and new Hankey parents to join us on Wednesday, August 19 from 8-9am in the library. Drop off your little ones and join us for coffee, tissues, and community, as we celebrate this milestone! PTSA is here to welcome you and answer any questions you might have!

IMPORTANT Message for Tier 1 Volunteers!

Thank you for your continued dedication to our schools. An email was sent out to share an important update regarding volunteer requirements.

Under the provisions of Senate Bill 848, all Tier I volunteers are now required to complete Mandated Reporter training on an annual basis.

The training must be completed by September 30, 2026. Once you have finished the course, the team at CUSD will be automatically notified. They will update your volunteer profile to ensure your school site knows you are cleared and ready to help. You can check in with the front office to confirm your clearance. Volunteers who have not completed the training by September 30, 2026 will have their Tier 1 status suspended until it is complete.

We truly appreciate your cooperation in keeping our students safe. If you have any questions during this process, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Kathy Havard at (949) 234-9409 or mhavard@capousd.org.
