End of Summer Reading Dance Parties with Santa Fe Public Library

Main  Library: Friday, August 5, 4-6 p.m.

Southside Library: Saturday, August 6, 4-6 p.m.

Get ready to move your flippers and swish your tail to celebrate the end of the Santa Fe Public Library’s "Oceans of Possibilities" Summer Reading Program! This year, over 800 Santa Fe children and teens explored the depths of their imaginations by reading lots of books and attending fun activities and programing provided by SFPL through the generosity of the Friends of the Library.

To officially put the 2022 summer reading program out to sea, the Main and Southside libraries will have family-friendly D.J. Dance Parties, including a raffle, prizes, crafting fun, and paletas. The first party kicks off on Friday, August 5, at the Main Library from 4-6 p.m.

The second party will make a splash at the Southside Library on Saturday, August 6, from 4-6 p.m. Participants in this year’s program are invited to have a whale of a time at one of the two branches’ parties to celebrate their reading achievements. Be sure to bring your dancing shoes!
