Delta Dental of Virginia (Delta Dental) recently completed a survey of our network dentists, and the responses were both candid and helpful. We are still evaluating the results to identify opportunities for us to improve the quality of services we deliver.

While many of the comments regarding our claims payment process were positive, some of the respondents suggested that this process could be improved. We are working on scheduling time with some of you to investigate these issues in more detail, and we will certainly look at our internal processes for opportunities to improve efficiencies.

Delta Dental will continue to evaluate our claims processing based on your responses and our internal evaluation as we look to improve the experiences of both you and your patients. In the meantime, ensuring the submission of a complete and accurate claim will go a long way toward receiving timely claims payments and improving satisfaction.

Thank you, again, to everyone who responded to our survey. We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts with us and your continued participation in our network.
