Furever Home Dog Sanctuary is on a hot streak in 2023, and YOU, the donors, are the ones who have helped make this possible.
- Without YOU, we could not have afforded to hire an architect to prepare site plans and submit them for McHenry County's approval (we did this in November 2022).
- Without YOU, we would not have been able to pay the fees that allowed us to successfully obtain the Hearing Officer's recommendation for our use of the land (this occurred in January 2023).
- Without YOU we would not have been able to obtain the unanimous vote by the McHenry County Board who granted us the variance allowing us to proceed with our vision (this occurred in February 2023).
- Without YOU we would not have raised the $33,000 to pay for our architectural plans, which we will be unveiling to all of you at an exciting event in 2024!
So what's next for Furever Home Dog Sanctuary? We are in the final stage of completing our interior design plans and then we can start getting bids for the construction! Yes, folks, this is really happening, and we cannot wait.
