The success that Furever Home Dog Sanctuary has had so far this year is thanks in no small part to the many individuals who have donated their time, knowledge, and enthusiasm to planning our events and working behind the scenes on everything needed to run FHDS and prepare for its growth. So this email is all about sending our gratitude to everyone who has dedicated their time to help FHDS grow.
Here is everything we have accomplished in 2023, thanks to our volunteers:
Assisted at Property:
- built fencing around the property to create small and large fields for the visiting dogs to enjoy
- beautified the landscape of the property using tractors and other machines
- installed access gates for the fenced-in yards
- maintained the lawns and fields
- helped repair the landscape equipment at the property
Researched and collaborated for the construction of our Facility:
- toured numerous dog facilities to research designs for creating our own
- researched and interviewed architects to design the Sanctuary
- worked with the selected architect to design and refine what will become a paradise facility for our rescued dogs
Got the word out on all platforms:
- made sure the IT ran smoothly for our programs and website
- created beautiful material for social media and emails
- spread the word about Furever Home Dog Sanctuary on social media and at various events
Helped promote Furever Home Dog Sanctuary:
- asked businesses to donate products for our fundraisers
- helped plan a fundraiser at a local clothing store
- helped plan and execute the September 10th kick-off event which was attended by over 150 people and 40+ dogs
- helped plan the October 2023 bonfire
- donated professional dog training and evaluation skills to dogs and owners in need
Thank you to those of you who have donated your time to FHDS. We appreciate you choosing to support FHDS in 2023 and look forward to continuing to work with you in 2024.
