Eubanks 6th Grade

Drive-Through Dragon Parade

We are inviting all 6th grade families to our Eubanks

Drive-Through Dragon Parade.

On the afternoon of Wednesday, May 26th, we will use our back drive way to wave and cheer for our 6th graders. This is the same route used for afternoon carline pick up. Below is a map to help guide you on the parade route. Please join us during the following times, based on your last name. We can’t wait to see you there!

A - F 1:45 - 2:00 pm

G - O 2:00 - 2:15 pm

P - Z 2:15 - 2:30 pm

Early Release for May 26th and 27th

Lunches will be provided only if preordered, it will be a Deli Bag.

Parents/Students should preorder by 8:30 am on May 26 and 27 with the link below and their lunch account will be debited. Paid/Free/Reduced students will be charged as they normally would in the lunch room.

Medication Pick Up

If your child has a medication(s) in the Eubanks Clinic (You should have received an email on 5/18 from the nurse, Lisa Moreland if you do), they need to be picked up by the end of the day on 5/27. Any med not picked up will be discarded. Per CISD policy, no medication of any kind will be sent home in your child’s backpack. The nurse is available for med pick up any day this week. If you need Action Plans or Med Forms for next year, they can be found on the CISD district website under Departments ^ Health Services ^ Medication and Health Forms. She will also have copies ready here in the clinic for when you pick up.

Cleaning out your Closets?

Eubanks is gladly taking any closet clean out donations of boys shorts all sizes and girls leggings sizes 8-16.

Parents and Students

As temperatures are getting warmer and we are pulling out our shorts and Tshirts, be sure their shorts are long enough and shirts cover their midsections.

Please refer to the Handbook for detailed dress code rules.

*Morning Health Checks*

Parents please check in with your child when doing their daily morning temps to see if they have any symptoms. If they are complaining of or showing any symptoms, please keep them home and report them to the school.

If you have recently had your child tested for Covid-19 and are awaiting the results (even if they have no symptoms and you are just testing them because they were quarantined) please keep them home until the results are back.
