Meet Elder Will Francis
Pastor, strategist and public health advocate
Elder Will Francis is a pastor, strategist and public health advocate whose life’s work sits at the intersection of faith, health equity and social transformation. Guided by his conviction that “anything we build must feed bodies, heal communities and govern systems,” Francis has spent more than two decades dismantling disparities and creating frameworks where justice and healing flow together.
As Senior Director of Community Engagement at Access Resources & Community, Inc. (ARC), Francis leads efforts to connect health, church and community ecosystems. He pioneered the rollout of FaithRx, a catalytic initiative that equips churches to serve as health and wellness hubs through pop-up clinics, referral networks and healing-centered ministry. Under his leadership, FaithRx has become a blueprint for addressing health disparities by positioning faith-based spaces as the front door of public health.
Beyond ARC, Francis is the founder and apostolic leader of The 166 Church, a movement-driven hub designed to reach “Beyond Sunday.” Through initiatives such as Mission ATL, The 166 tackles poverty, housing insecurity and health inequities with both biblical strategy and practical solutions.
His impact is shaped by both rigorous training and lived experience. With a master’s degree in Practical Theology, extensive public health certifications and ongoing participation in apostolic and leadership cohorts, Francis brings intellectual depth and cultural fluency to every space he enters. Whether teaching in a pulpit, building strategy in a boardroom or breaking down HIV prevention in a barbershop, Francis embodies the role of a systems thinker for social change committed to building infrastructures that heal, not harm.
