Are you eligible? Do you own a small business that lost revenue due to COVID? Have you been operating since at least June 1, 2019? Did you report gross yearly revenue (before the pandemic) of between $1,000 and $2.5 million? Do you meet the other guidelines--see Eligibility section on the careliefgrant.com home page.

2. Prep

Load the Google Chrome browser onto your computer or smartphone. Enable pop-up windows on your browser. (How to do that.) Either set up your scanner or load a photo-to-document scanning program on your smartphone (see page 15). Get your federal business tax filing for 2019 or 2018 (whichever is most recent) in pdf format (or scan it into one or more files no bigger than 15 MB each). Read and sign the Applicant Certification, save it so it is ready to upload later. See other Required Documentation (page 10) Look up your gross business revenue for these two six-month time periods: April 1 - September 30, 2019 and April 1 - September 30, 2020 Have a list and amounts for any COVID-19 emergency related loans or grants you were awarded.

3. Apply

Apply at sbdc.mylendistry.com any time between 8 am Tuesday Feb 2nd and 6 pm Monday, Feb 8th. Tech Tips! To prevent or solve technical challenges with the online application: Make sure you remember (a) what email address you used to apply and (b) what web site you used to start your application. Make sure emails from Lendistry about your application are not going to your spam folder. Enable pop-up windows on your browser. (How to do that) This ensures you can click "yes" to agree to submit your application. Clear your browser cache and cookies (How to do that). Helpful if you are having trouble logging back in or updating entries. Open an "Incognito Window" (How to do that) Helpful for same reason.
