Ohio Value Voters Endorses Jon Husted for U.S. Senate in 2026.
Following a thorough review, the board of Ohio Value Voters proudly announces its official endorsement of Senator Jon Husted for the U.S. Senate seat in the 2026 election to represent Ohio’s conservative values in Washington.

Senator Husted brings with him an extensive record of public service and business leadership. Before Lt. Governor Jon Husted's appointment by Governor Mike DeWine to fill the unexpired term of U.S. Senator JD Vance, Husted served Ohio as a State Senator, Speaker of the Ohio House of Representatives, and Ohio Secretary of State. In addition to his public service, Husted’s experience in the private sector equips him with the skills necessary to tackle the nation and Ohio’s economic and fiscal challenges.
A proven fiscal conservative, Husted demonstrated leadership by reducing the Secretary of State’s office budget by $14.5 million during his first term, while also decreasing staff by one-third. When asked about the most pressing issue facing America, he identified the growing national debt, expressing deep concern about the burden being placed on future generations.
Senator Husted is unwavering in his pro-life beliefs. He has been a consistent defender of women’s sports, supporting House Bill 68 in the 135th General Assembly, which prohibits biological males from competing in female sports divisions. Additionally, he opposes allowing biological males in women’s bathrooms and locker rooms.
On education, Senator Husted strongly opposes the teaching of radical ideologies in the classroom, including Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs and Comprehensive Sex Education (CSE).
