The PaveDrain system is a permeable surface, but NOT a paver. It consists of a Permeable Articulating Concrete Block (P-ACB) that creates a performance pavement that integrates the patented arched reservoir to maximize on site stormwater capacity. This improves the typical storm hydrograph and increases environmental performance while reducing stormwater infrastructure costs. The PaveDrain system can be designed in a variety of configurations customized for specific applications and installed very quickly with conventional construction equipment.

The PaveDrain System allows for a more natural (vertical) infiltration path, recharging local groundwater and reducing first flush pollutants. By reducing a typical storm hydrograph while also filtering out suspended sediments this combination of Best Management Practices (BMP's) illustrates stellar life-cycle cost savings, clearly making the PaveDrain System a superior choice for effective stormwater management.

PaveDrain meets the requirements by the ADA by having a ¼” gap between each individual PaveDrain block. Most owners that have worked with permeable pavers have had rough experiences with maintaining the permeable system. The main issue is the clogging of the joints with debris that requires a specialized vacuum system to unclog the joints. The PaveDrain system does not use aggregate in the joints which allows for much higher infiltration rates. As for maintenance, a standard municipal street sweeper will remove debris from the joints.

Our Endurablend polymer cement coating is being used to preserve and protect the PaveDrain system from traffic wear, salt and de-icing materials, UV and other environmental factors. By applying Endurablend, you can now install the PaveDrain system in high traffic urban environments. Additionally, Endurablend can be applied to the PaveDrain system in a wide variety of colors. You can even create designs.

Endurablend is an "ultra-thin" (1/16" to 1/8") polymer cement micro-overlay that is spray applied to asphalt or concrete pavement surfaces. Stencils are used to create patterns for safety and decorative applications. Endurablend is designed to provide you with an extremely durable colored surface treatment that will preserve and protect the paving surface from UV, tire wear, salts, de-icing materials, oils and most chemicals. Endurablend is basically maintenance free and has an expected life span of 10 plus years.
