You’re Invited: Peace River Nuclear Power Project Community Engagement Sessions
Join us between Sept 22nd and 26th for a public engagement session to learn more about the proposed Peace River Nuclear Power Project. These interactive sessions will focus on the topics that matter most to your community.
In response to requests by some Indigenous Nations and Communities for a pause in the regulatory process to allow for additional time to more fully and meaningfully engage, we have asked the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada (IAAC) to suspend the timeline for the Planning Phase of the assessment process for a period of three to six months.
From Data & Indigenous Knowledge to Decisions: How Field Studies Shape Project Planning
Throughout the summer and fall of 2025 we will began an extensive series of environmental studies to ensure we fully understand the ecosystems, land, water, wildlife and communities that surround the proposed locations.
