Student and Staff Recognition

Mr. Tesla Awarded to Mr. Eagle Platon

Mr. Eagle Platon chose Ms. Nam for the Tesla Award recipient. She teaches Alg II and College Prep Math.

Mr. Eagle Platon thanked Ms. Nam for helping him secure a guest speaker for his government class and said, "Ms. Name uses competitive problem solving to bring her students to new heights. Thank you for being such a huge part of the culture of excellence!"

Congratulations Kyle Randon

Senior Kyle Randon was selected from thousands of applicants as a Posse Scholar! The Posse selection process is very strenuous and includes three rounds of interviews. Kyle will be attending Carleton on a full tuition scholarship through the Posse Scholarship program. The program also offers other great opportunities to their scholars. We are so proud of Kyle and all of the hard work he did to get to this point. We can't wait to hear about his future successes at Carleton.

Senior News and Information

Submit Your Acceptances! Apply for Scholarships!

Congratulations to our seniors! They have been hard at work completing college applications. We only have a handful of students still working on their first college application. Acceptances are starting to come in! Seniors should be reporting their acceptances on this google form after uploading the required information on the senior check-out form. Student acceptances will be posted on our college wall!

Seniors should also be working on scholarship applications. They are required to complete at least one every two weeks through their PBL Skills class. Scholarship opportunities can be found here.

Senior Dues - Pay Today!

Senior dues cover graduation ceremony costs, a professional graduation photo on stage, the yearbook, a graduation cap and gown, the diploma cover, a senior class panoramic picture, senior t-shirt, senior breakfast, prom, senior picnic (or other fun selected activity), and more senior week activities.

The Early Bird time period has expired. Students should pay their senior dues before prices increase again. Senior students should see their dean if there are any economic concerns and make sure they have completed the Socioeconomic Form. Visit our website for more information.

PTO News

Purchase Your Energy Polo Today

Energy has three modes of dress. Energy students are required to wear a blue Energy polo for field trips, certain guest speakers, and special events. These are purchased through our PTO store and can be picked up by students at the PTO office (in the B building) on Wednesdays during lunch. Shirts are $25. As special field trips and events are starting up, it's important that anyone who does not already have one, gets one purchased. Visit the PTO store to purchase yours today. All students should have one purchased by the end of September.

Sweat Shirts and Hoodies Available and Donations Being Accepted

Brrr..it’s cold! Does your child have an EIHS hoodie? Purchase hoodies in blue or black at the PTO Spirit Store. There are also crewneck sweatshirts available in the store.

Has your child grown? As you purchase new sweatshirts or polos, please consider donating your old school uniform items. We will accept items in good condition, with no stains, rips, or worn areas. Items should be clean and ready to be worn by another student. Students can bring donated polos to the PTO office on Wednesdays at lunch in a bag marked, “Donated uniform” or leave with the front office.
