LEEP Intern Food & Clothing Drive


Our LEEP interns at Energy are hosting a food and clothing drive until Friday, December 13th. Please consider donating. Donations can be dropped off in designated drop-off boxes in the Front Office and near the BP Hub.

Therapy Dogs Visit Energy


Faithful Paws visited Energy on Wednesday, December 4th in the BP Hub to provide students with pre-final exam stress relief. Students were able to schedule a time to visit, pet, and play with the dogs.

AP Research


Students in AP Research have been working hard on their year-long independent research projects! On 12/4, students each gave a seven-minute presentation of their semester's progress to panels of professionals, participated in an oral defense, and were able to get feedback on their projects. Here are some scenes of students practicing on the big day.

Congratulations VEX Team 3674G


Team 3674G, Energy's all-girls VEX Robotics team, has been invited to the UIL TX State Championship. The 5A tournament is on Thursday, January 30 in Clear Creek ISD. Earlier this year, the team won the Innovation Award.  

Yearbook Portraits


The Yearbook portrait galleries are available for students and parents. All students will be emailed to their HISD email with instructions on accessing their yearbook portrait. Parents will also receive an email if their email is on file with Lot Five Studios. Dual Credit


Dual credit registration has opened for Summer 2025 for current 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students. The registration form will be open from December 2, 2024 to January 31, 2025. Please visit tinyurl.com/dualcreditenergy to obtain more information about the program. You can access the registration form on the website. Spring 2025 Graduation


Energy Institute High School Spring 2025 Graduation will be held on Saturday, June 7th, 2025 at 3:00 pm at Barnett Fieldhouse (6800 Fariway, Houston, Texas 77087).

Senior Portraits


Lot Five Studios will photograph our seniors this year at their studio for their yearbook photo. Seniors must sign up for a session time and take their picture during the fall semester, before December 22nd, to meet our Yearbook deadlines. Senior Dues


All seniors are required to pay seniors dues and the payment window is now open. Families should go to this website, https://tinyurl.com/eihsseniors25, to learn more about the items that are covered in senior dues.
