City Manager Lisa Goldman, Police Chief Eric Wollman, and Finance Director Carol Augustine visited the Our Lady of Angels Men's Club recently as part of our Join the Conversation program on community priorities and needs.  We heard strong support for investing more in our streets, sidewalks, and traffic calming measures. Please share your views with us today.

Offering two electricity rates

Peninsula Clean Energy  (PCE) is sending out notices this month to 210,000 residences and businesses throughout San Mateo County. Burlingame residents who are not yet enrolled in PCE will soon have the chance to join. Keep an eye out for a notice in the mail or enroll immediately at www.peninsulacleanenergy.com

PCE offers two electricity rates. ECOplus is the default rate to which customers are automatically enrolled in. ECOplus is 50% renewable energy and costs 5% less than PG&E electricity rates. The 5% discount may be especially helpful to residents who have seen high energy bills this winter. ECO100 is the opt-up rate for 100% renewable energy. We encourage residents and businesses who want 100% renewable energy without the hassle of installing on-site solar power to opt for ECO100 .
