| | Parish Focus: Pakefield animal mission outreach | | |
As the Church of England summer campaign #GreatAndSmall continues - about animals in and around churches, we've got a very special focus on the animals of Pakefield Church.
Pakefield Pastures is a Community Interest Company (CIC) which cares for an array of animals and offers outreach support as a mobile care unit.
The organisation is led by Katey Mills, the Children, Youth and Families Minister at All Saints’ & St Margaret’s Church in Pakefield, where the Pakefield Pastures animals have now become a fixture of missional work. Read more below.

A summer of new clergy!
“It is a joy to see clergy matched to parishes, and introduce them to their new congregations. I pray that every vacancy will be filled, so that the good news of life and love, brought by Jesus, can be heard and seen not just inside our churches, but out in every community too. These are men and women dedicated to serving the people of Norfolk and Waveney.” Bishop Graham.

As a church network we are excited to be part of this celebration that looks to the future with hope, and we’re delighted to wonder together what life in all its fullness could look life in Long Stratton now.” Revd Becki Bensusan.

Bishop Graham's July Diocese diary. Welcomes, blessings, new priests and prayers for peace
More than 200 refugees enjoyed music, food, games, children’s activities and the chance to chat and relax in the sunshine at an annual family garden party hosted by the Bishop of Norwich.
“It is one of my favourite afternoons of the year,” said Bishop Graham.
He welcomed families forced to flee from Afghanistan, Syria, Sudan and Myanmar, saying he hoped he was, in a small way, helping to continue Norwich’s long history as a city of welcome, hospitality and sanctuary.
