With upcoming trainings and a conference, a run/walk, the legislative session underway, and requests from the media, MNADV has really kicked off into spring.
LAP in the News

Alicia Bickoff, Program Manager at MNADV recently sat down with ABC2 News, WMAR-TV to discuss the Lethality Assessment Program-Maryland Model (LAP). The LAP has been identified as a "supported intervention" according to the CDC and as a "leading promising practice" by OVW. It is currently implemented in 34 states through the country and over 600 law enforcement agencies, as well as throughout the State of Maryland over the past ten years.

7K Run to Remember

Join us on April 23, 2016 at 8:30 am for the 7K Run or 1 Mile Walk, which will be held at the beautiful Centennial Lake in Ellicott City. Presented by the Maryland State Attorneys' Association, in conjunction with National Crime Victims' Rights Week, proceeds from the race will benefit the Maryland Network Against Domestic Violence. Prizes and refreshments will be provided. Check out our Virtual 7k option and pledge to run the distance!

Conference Registration

MNADV's statewide conference, Inform. Empower. Advocate. Working to End Domestic Violence in Maryland, will be held on Friday, June 3, 2016 from 9:00 am - 4:30 pm at the DoubleTree at Hilton in Annapolis. A national keynote speaker will be featured and attendees can choose from 18 unique workshops that will be offered in three workshop sessions. Registration is underway now through May 2, 2016!
