Community projects or services that promote accessibility and inclusion of persons with disabilities are also considered for the award.

NWT MINISTERIAL LITERACY AWARDS
The Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) and the NWT Literacy Council are extending the nomination deadline for the annual NWT Ministerial Literacy Awards to November 30, 2022.

INDIGENOUS LANGUAGE REVITALIZATION SCHOLARSHIPS
Ten scholarships valued at $5,000 each will be awarded to eligible NWT students enrolled in certificate, diploma, degree programs, or other training that supports Indigenous language revitalization during the 2022-2023 academic year.

2023 CANADIAN PROGRAM
The NYA Canadian Program is open to youth ages 15-20 living in Nunavut or the NWT. Participants get to travel, earn high school credits, get work experience and job skills, and develop as young leaders.

THE NORTHWEST TERRITORIES CUMULATIVE IMPACT MONITORING PROGRAM
The Northwest Territories Cumulative Impact Monitoring Program (NWT CIMP) is a source of environmental monitoring and research in the NWT. One important way that NWT CIMP generates cumulative impact monitoring and research information is by providing funding through an annual funding process for both Science projects and traditional knowledge projects.

REACHING EACH AND EVERY ONE: A COMMUNITY SPORT INTERVENTION
This new funding will allow CPRA to support community-led projects that aim to remove barriers and increase participation rates in recreation for underrepresented groups, in particular, Black, Indigenous, racially diverse, 2SLGBTQQIA+, low-income and newcomer populations, as well as people living with disabilities.
