QUESTIONS AND FORUMS FOR CANDIDATES

The Northwest Territories Association of Communities (NWTAC) has posed a series of questions to candidates for Member of Legislative Assembly in the forthcoming territorial election on November 14, 2023. These questions include a concentration on the perpetual annual funding gap of $40 million affecting communities in the Northwest Territories, prioritizing community governments, and resiliency toward climate change

As responses are received, they are posted to the NWTAC Advocacy Page.

Additionally, the NWTAC has invited all candidates to attend a Candidate Forum on Wednesday, November 8. This will allow our members to understand the candidates and where they stand on various issues vital to communities.
