MNADV's Annual Meeting and Awards Dinner to be held October 26, 2016
MNADV will hold its 36th Annual Meeting and Awards Dinner on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from 6:00-9:00 pm at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Annapolis.
The $60 Early Bird Ticket Rate is effective now through September 30, 2016. From October 1-14, 2016, the $70 Regular Ticket Rate will be available. Sponsorships for multiple sponsor levels are now being accepted.

Legislative Planning Call

Thanks to everyone who completed the legislative planning survey! The results will be discussed on a conference call on August 24, 2016 from 3:00-4:00 pm. To obtain the call-in information and to receive the written materials in advance, email Michaele Cohen.
IPV, Trauma, and Substance Use Symposiums

MNADV is holding a series of symposiums to address Intersections of Intimate Partner Violence, Trauma, and Substance Use.

The remaining two symposiums, to be held on back-to-back days on August 25 and 26, 2016 in Sykesville, MD, are being targeted to domestic violence victim service providers and substance abuse treatment providers.

Both symposiums will feature the National Center on Domestic Violence, Trauma and Mental Health and a panel of local practitioners. Register for the symposium that most closely represents the role of your profession or your organization.
Si Se Puede: Providing Culturally Relevant Services to Latin@ and Hispanic Survivors of Domestic Violence
As part of the MNADV Culturally Specific Service Provider Round Table's Cultural Competency Training Series, a statewide workshop, Si Se Puede: Providing Culturally Relevant Services to Latin@ and Hispanic Survivors of Domestic Violence will be held on September 13, 2016 from 9:30 am-3:30 pm in Lanham, MD.
