Community Meeting held regarding the Pearl Properties project on 113-21 S. 19th St.

On Thursday, October 1st at 7pm, we held our RCO Community Meeting on Zoom regarding the major development being proposed by Pearl Properties for the parcel(s) designated as 113 - 121 South 19th St (view plans here).  The meeting lasted exactly 1 hour and 54-60 people attended at any one time.

Pearl Properties made a thorough and complete presentation and satisfactorily answered questions from the community regarding parking, construction, height, trash pickup, loading and unloading.

CCRA's taskforce has reviewed the CBA and recommends CCRA approve it with the addendums.  Special thanks to Pip Campbell, Paul Steinke, Tim Kerner and Richard Gross for their excellent work on the committee.

We would like to thank all who submitted questions and attended this meeting.

Discussion Panel on the Brene Brown/Ibram X. Kendi Podcast
Featuring Delores F. Brisbon, Eve J. Higginbotham,
and Ezelle Sanford III
Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 4:00 pm via Zoom

Please join us for a panel discussion of Brene Brown’s podcast interview with Ibram X. Kendi, the New York Times bestselling author of How to Be an Antiracist and the Director of the Antiracist Research and Policy Center at American University. The podcast centers on racial disparities, policy, and equality, but really focuses on the book, which is a groundbreaking approach to understanding uprooting racism and inequality in our society and in ourselves. Attendees are encouraged to listen to the podcast in preparation for the discussion, which can be found for free and played on your computer or other device at: or anywhere you get your podcasts.
