Visit our website for our in-person Holy Week offerings, and to register. They’re robust, and we will be outdoors and online for Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and THREE in-person services on Easter Day (with Paxton Searcy baptized at 11:00 am!) We will also have an in-person, outdoor, simplified Great Vigil of Easter.

Many people have mentioned the sense of loss of not being able to put their offering in the collection plates. We are still not able to "Pass the Plate" but we will have a Collection Basket at the 2:00 Outdoor Service. Please bring your offerings, cash or check, and place them in the basket. One more small step towards regathering for church.

Join us for our Easter Egg Hunt between services! Our toddlers (0-3) will find eggs on the small playground behind the church and turn them in for an Easter surprise! Our younger kids (4-6) will gather on the large field beside Oakdale Park, while our older kids (7-9) will hunt on the playground by the upper parking lot! Masks will be required for those over 2. In the event of rain, we will reschedule for the following week. We can't wait to see all the kids in person once again!

Sunday, March 28th 4:00 pm

Come gather with St. Benedict's youth (grades 6-12) for good time together: a little bible study, junior high boys leading us in some favorite games, and the chance to continue reconnecting with one another and with God. 4:00-5:00 pm. Bring a mask and a blanket or chair to sit on.

The St. Benedict's Flower Guild is accepting $25 donations to provide an Easter lily in the nave and at the outside service in memory or thanksgiving of a loved one.

Celebrate Holy Eucharist together in person every Sunday at 2:00 pm in the upper lot. Please register ahead of time. We are limited to 75 folks per service. If you are a musician of any variety, we'd love to have you offer some simple music for our outdoor worship. Please be in touch with Valerie or Mother Jenna.

What a great day it was for Pat and myself to have our marriage blessed on Sunday. We had our family there plus were able to share with our church family. Thank you Rev. Jennna for making this such a special day for us. Much love to you Rev. Jennna and our church family. -Vera McCabe

Please pray for Paxton Searcy, and his parents Julia and Houston, as he prepares for full initiation by water and the Holy Spirit into Christ's body, the Church on April 4.

After Easter, we will be forming a new Discernment Class for 2021. This Discernment process requires a six-week preparation period for candidates to be able to learn and prayerfully consider what it means to become a Daughter of the King (DOK).

The Women's Bible Study meet via Zoom on Monday mornings at 10:30 and welcomes any and all who might be interested. Currently we are studying Paul’s Letter to the Colossians. Please use the attached Zoom link to jump aboard and then save that link for further use as it is a recurring link.

Baptism is full initiation, by water and the Holy Spirit, into Christ's body the church. People of all ages are baptized at St. Benedict's. If you desire Holy Baptism for you or your child, or are even just curious about baptism, please reach out to Mo. Jenna. I am trying to get a sense of how many folks might be desiring baptism this Eastertide and beyond.

Wednesday, March 24 7:00-7:30pm

Eva Lukkonen Sullivan, voice teacher and speech pathologist, will lead a talk with information and exercises to help keep voices healthy. This workshop is for everyone, not just people who sing!

We are introducing a Lenten calendar for your kids to peruse during this season! It works just like a virtual Advent calendar-- open the door corresponding to the current day of Lent. There will be an image, or a song, or a read-aloud based on the lectionary readings of the day. I hope this will help your children spend a little time each day thinking about what Lent means to them. You can find the calendar HERE.
