Visit our website for our in-person Holy Week offerings, and to register. They’re robust, and we will be outdoors and online for Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and THREE in-person services on Easter Day (with Paxton Searcy baptized at 11:00 am!) We will also have an in-person, outdoor, simplified Great Vigil of Easter.

Many people have mentioned the sense of loss of not being able to put their offering in the collection plates. We are still not able to "Pass the Plate" but we will have a Collection Basket at all the Holy Week and Easter Outdoor Services. Please bring your offerings, cash or check, and place them in the basket. One more small step towards regathering for church.
A special thank you to those who contributed to the Collection Plate at the Palm Sunday service. We had our first counting and getting a deposit ready since last March!!

Once again we will observe a beloved St. Benedict's tradition of "Flowering of the Cross" at our Easter Services. Please bring flowers from home or the grocery store or pick up some from our bucket for "Flowering the Cross." The cross will be on the blacktop at all the Easter Sunday Services. It's a wonderful photo op after the services also.

Join us for our Easter Egg Hunt between services, one at 10:00 am and one at 1:00 pm. Our toddlers (0-3) will find eggs on the small playground behind the church and turn them in for an Easter surprise! Our younger kids (4-6) will gather on the large field beside Oakdale Park, while our older kids (7-9) will hunt on the playground by the upper parking lot! Masks will be required for those over 2. In the event of rain, we will reschedule for the following week. We can't wait to see all the kids in person once again!

Baptism is full initiation, by water and the Holy Spirit, into Christ's body the church. People of all ages are baptized at St. Benedict's. If you desire Holy Baptism for you or your child, or are even just curious about baptism, please reach out to Mo. Jenna. I am trying to get a sense of how many folks might be desiring baptism this Eastertide and beyond.

We are introducing a Lenten calendar for your kids to peruse during this season! It works just like a virtual Advent calendar-- open the door corresponding to the current day of Lent. There will be an image, or a song, or a read-aloud based on the lectionary readings of the day. I hope this will help your children spend a little time each day thinking about what Lent means to them. You can find the calendar HERE.

Be a part of making the nave beautiful for online worship. The Flower Guild is looking for volunteers to help with arranging flowers for the nave every week. If interested, contact Beth Tyler.

A reminder to all parishioners that St. Benedict's is committed to the various care needs of its member families. A dedicated group of volunteers are continuing to offer their time to serve our church community within various pastoral care capacities, including prayer requests, transportation, meal delivery, Eucharistic visits with Diocesan-approved safe protocols, and more. Mo. Jenna is also readily available for prayers, calls and/or visits for those in need.
Do not hesitate to reach out to Kerry Thomas or Anna Best about Pastoral care needs for yourself, your family, or your friends. We are here to help and serve!
