We are excited to invite you to our 1st Urban League for All of Us Community Conversation of 2024 on March 22nd at 6-7:30 pm in Gresham at Mt Hood Community College.
We will be looking at how past land use, zoning, and planning have led us to a lack of affordable housing options and the impacts this has had on community. We will discuss what mechanisms we put in place now, to have equitable housing development that reflects our values for the future. We plan to shed light on the housing challenges faced by the Gresham/Portland community, explore strategies, and spark meaningful discussions to drive change. This will be an opportunity to hear from her and other movement members of the community in the Gresham area. We will also be honoring community champions who are doing dynamic work to advance the movement forward.
Registration will be capped at 60 attendees in person, please register as soon as possible. This event is family friendly and children must be registered. To-go dinner boxes will be provided. If you need an accommodation, please contact us at ace@ulpdx.org.

Care for Disruptive Leadership Application 2024
Check out the transformative impact of the Care for Disruptive Leadership (CDL) program through the words of a former participant! Applications are now live for the CDL program, a holistic wellness-focused leadership program for BIPOC leaders in Oregon. Learn more about the program and apply at https://bit.ly/Apply4CDL2024
About the program: The Care for Disruptive Leadership (CDL) is a different type of leadership program that explores the difficulties and trauma incurred from being a BIPOC leader. The goal of the program is to increase retention of BIPOC leaders by allowing space for leaders to explore their holistic wellness. Our hope in supporting these BIPOC leaders is to disrupt the conventional leadership model. We acknowledge that BIPOC leaders play multiple roles in their lives, so our care has to start by supporting the individual as a whole. Oregon Futures Lab (OFL) uses a Trauma Informed Care (TIC) framework in developing and administering the program.
Application specifics: This application has 4 sections and should take around 30 minutes to complete. If you are someone who is passionate about the future of Oregon and shares OFL's values, please apply. This program is for you! Application closes 5pm on Sunday, March 3, 2024.
