Last month, we were thrilled to achieve the goal we had long awaited during this pandemic when our students returned to full-time in-person instruction on March 15. Of course, we continue to offer an all-virtual model for those families that do not feel comfortable with in-person instruction.
We are very pleased to report that we have re-engaged in this instructional model with minimal hiccups and so far with very few reported cases of COVID-19 and need to quarantine. This is due in large part to the phenomenal cooperation we've had from students, their families, our faculty, and staff in their adherence to safety expectations, including social distancing, temperature checks, masking, hand hygiene, and more.
We are continuing to maintain rigorous safety protocols consistent with current practice throughout Kentucky and across the country. We ask our community to continue to support one another as we move forward. Please do not send your child to school or extra-curricular activities if they feel ill. And let's all do our part by following the state and CDC guidelines for mitigating COVID-19.
We're so grateful for your continued support.
