GammaSAID - Solutions for Authenticity, Inclusion, and Diversity
This groundbreaking student-led group has exclusive engagement with GIS Sustaining Partner Chief Diversity Officers and promotes creative and widespread student participation in the discussion and experience of authenticity, inclusion, and diversity - shaping the industry's D&I discourse and action based on the unique student perspective.

19 chapters now report a D&I Officer and 18 chapters were recognized with the International Chapter Award for Diversity & Inclusion for their 2018-19 efforts at #GIS2019, where 11 Council Members also presented 4 thought-provoking, actionable sessions . GammaSAID resources provide ideas and support students’ efforts to hardwire D&I into chapter activities through on-campus engagement across majors and student groups. The 2019 Recruiting Survey further explored student perspectives in this realm.
