Equitable Cancer Prevention and Care in our Communities

We’d like to introduce you to Bronson's oncology project manager and data specialist, LaShawnda Bates. She is working in Battle Creek and Kalamazoo to identify any disparities within Bronson's cancer program. Bates is using her findings to inform and implement programs and services to close gaps in prevention, diagnosis and treatment. The goal is to improve patient experiences and outcomes for everyone. Her position is funded thanks to generous donors and grants to Bronson Health Foundation.

Calling all golfers! We have a new golf outing added to our events this year. The NICU Night Golf Outing at Kalamazoo Country Club will raise funds to add another high frequency jet ventilator to the Bronson Children's Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Tee-off time for this nine-hole outing starts at 3 p.m. Following the round, players are invited to spend some time with us at the clubhouse afterwards. The outing is filling up quickly and we expect it to sell out, so register today!

Making a Hospital Stay a Little Brighter

A special shout out to our child life, art therapy and music therapy teams. They do incredible work to make being in the hospital easier for Bronson Children's Hospital patients and their families. We are grateful to the many donors who support their work through direct donations and event participation.
