Ontario, Canada, October 25, 2013 -Enghouse (TSX:ESL) announced today the release of NetDesigner 6.2, being one of the first Esri business partners to embrace the latest ArcGIS 10.2 release. NetDesigner offers an end-to-end solution for telecommunications Outside Plant planning, design, engineering and operations of fiber, copper, cable, wireless or hybrid networks. NetDesigner's advanced functionality includes integrated Inside Plant and Structures management. NetDesigner can offer real-time, visual business intelligence by integrating data from disparate data sources such as proposed network design, as-built network, billing data, demographic data, and underserved areas.
Ease of Access
NetDesigner 6.2 continues to build upon a portfolio of services that can be delivered through the NetDesigner Enterprise Portal. Traditional NetDesigner desktop functionality can be published as services that can be easily consumed by other applications, web services, mobile clients, etc. enabling the integration of NetDesigner into a powerful enterprise GIS platform to enable geographic information sharing and collaboration.
Real-time Data Integration
NetDesigner 6.2 can readily leverage enhancements such as the ArcGIS GeoEvent Processor for Server to deliver real-time integration, for example, with Network Monitoring Systems (NMS) to rapidly visualize and pin-point the location of network faults and dispatch the closest team for resolution.
Develop Custom Applications Faster
Although most customers find NetDesigner's out-of-the-box functionality serves a majority of their needs, NetDesigner can now leverage Esri's full support of Python to rapidly prototype and develop custom applications.
Improved Performance, Scalability and Ease of Use
NetDesigner leverages ArcGIS 10.2 for simplified system administration, improved performance and scalability in an integrated enterprise IT deployment.
