2023 Engineer of the Year & Other Awards Announced at Annual Conference | |
We are proud to announce that Eric M. Jimenez, PE, PMP, CCM, has been named the 2023 Engineer of the Year, and Corey Chascin, PE, has been named the 2023 Young Engineer of the Year. These and nine additional awards went to Florida’s finest professional engineers during an awards luncheon held at the FES | ACEC Florida Annual Conference in Marco Island last week.
The Outstanding Service to the Engineering Profession honor was awarded to William E. Wilson, Jr., PE, F.ACEC, and the Award for Outstanding Technical Achievement went to Kamal S. Tawfiq, PhD, PE, F.ASCE. These awards celebrate individuals who have made substantial contributions to the engineering profession throughout their careers.

FELI Class of 2023 Graduates & Raises $100,000 for Communities Impacted by Hurricane Ian | |
Congratulations to the Florida Engineering Leadership Institute (FELI), Class of 2023, who graduated from their 10-month leadership program during the FES | ACEC Florida Annual Conference last week and have pledged to use the majority of their more than $100,000 in charitable fundraising to help communities impacted by Hurricane Ian.

We are grateful to Outgoing 2022-2023 FES President Kelly Cranford, PE, ENV SP, for her exceptional service and leadership. Under her guidance, FES has achieved significant milestones and tackled numerous challenges with success. Her vision has been instrumental in driving our Society forward.
