Current Licensing Renewal Period for Professional Engineers Opened November 5 | |
All Professional Engineers in Florida must report their continuing education to renew their licenses during the upcoming renewal period.
The current renewal period for PEs licensed in Florida opened on November 5, 2024, and the deadline is February 28, 2025.
To renew your license for another two years, you must report your continuing education using the NCEES Free Tracking System. Please do not wait until the last minute.
To assist with reporting any continuing education our members have earned through FES|ACEC Florida, we have compiled a listing of all PDH credits we have provided since March 2023 on our website here.

Call for Presentations: 2025 Annual Conference | |
FES & ACEC Florida are soliciting presentation proposals for our 2025 Annual Conference, which will be held at the JW Marriott Marco Island, July 30 - August 2, 2025.
Presenting at conferences is advantageous for engineering professionals as it facilitates knowledge sharing, expands networking opportunities, and enhances public speaking skills.
The theme of this year's conference is "Resilience in Florida: Advancing Technology in a Changing World."

Call for Presentations: 2025 GMEC Conference | |
The GMEC Committee is seeking presentations for the 2025 Geotechnical and Material Engineers Conference held March 26-28, 2025, at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld.
We invite geotechnical and material testing engineering professionals, educators, and innovators to submit proposals for presentations on "Florida Forward." We aim to showcase collaborative initiatives that leverage engineering expertise to address Florida's unique challenges, from its geology to resilient infrastructure development that defies natural disasters.

November 2024 Board of Directors Meeting Highlights | |
The FES Board of Directors met in Tampa on November 13, 2024, preceding Session I of the 2025 FELI Class.
Highlights from this meeting include:
- Approval of a proposed addition to the administrative policy requiring background checks for MATHCOUNTS volunteers.
- Approval of the proposed changes to FES Administrative Policy 50B, which updates the FES logo and rules for use.
- Approval to remove the no longer applicable subcommittees, including the Energy, Geotechnical and Materials, Land Development, and Vertical Support Subcommittees.
The next FES Board of Directors meeting is on March 18, 2025, in Tallahassee preceding PE Legislative Days.
