A new direction, something that always is a subject for Model Railroaders. It could be trying a new facet of the hobby, changing scales, changing eras, or any number of things. One of the greatest things in this hobby is the ability to never follow a straight path, and the amount of hobbies within the hobby!
We have been seeing more people doing HO Scale vehicle modeling recently, so we have brought in some more than in the past. We have also seen the amount of people starting to weather things rise, which prompted us to carry more of the AK products, and we slowly keep expanding that line. Free-mo railroading is something popular around the country, we have a couple currently in the que to be built for customers.
Our modelers roundtables are gaining popularity. We plan to keep having these quarterly for our customers and employees to show their projects. Either under construction or recently completed. Seeing others modeling can inspire you to try a different direction and try something new.
Something else to try for some of you is to host a clinic. We welcome any subject that pertains to railroading or model railroading. There are so many paths to achieve an end result. If there is something you want to help other modelers learn how to do, let us know! As of now the schedule is wide open. We are working hard to try to get some store ones on the schedule, but it is taking a little longer to prepare for them than we had hoped.

Our Quarterly Modelers Roundtables are a great place to bring anything you have been working on. It does NOT have to be finished. A great place to be able to ask fellow modelers how they did stuff and learn some new things, along with seeing some outstanding modeling!

Store news:
As we work our hardest to try to make things easiest for everyone, we recently installed a new network in the store. This allowed us to update a few things to make it easier for the staff to conduct their everyday tasks. In doing so, we created a couple new emails so we can direct things to the correct departments.
paintshop@enginehouseservices.com This is for paint related questions. You might start seeing this pop up if you are working with Dave on some items. This is the email we will be using going forward for things related to the Paint Shop.
techbench@enginehouseservices.com This email is what we will be using when you have questions about DCC installation, DCC inquiries or repair questions.
info@enginehouseservices.com This email is still the main email for questions. We can forward them to the correct department if needed. This will still be used for general questions about the store and to have items added to your pre-order lists and such.
We hope that this will help us be able to keep better track of our emails, as we do not have a specific mail employee. We want to reply to everyone as soon as we can, and have answers for your questions in a timely manner.
One last thing for store news, we are currently working with MacRail to bring some of their product line into the store. It will most likely be a few weeks before we get our first order in. So if you would like something, let us know and we can make sure to get enough stock right away!

Atlas: GE 8-40B's, 8-40BW's, 50' Newsprint boxcars, Gunderson 7550cf Boxcars, BX177 boaxcars in HO and N scale, including some beer schemes! HO F350 trucks.
Fusion Scale Decals: We just received a restock of the reflective striping and window masking. We also brought in a couple more stock sets. Some WC heralds and faded flags.
HomeShops: We received our shipment of coil cars, autoracks, and 40' Rebuilt boxcars. If you like Model Railroading history, or just some really cool freelance stuff, you will love Homeshops.
Rapido: The C30-7's are in, both sound and non sound. The newest run of the PC&F B-70-69/71/75 Boxcars are in. The "last 8" cars look great!
Scaletrains: The first batch of CSX Heritage Gevos and the GP40's came in not long after the last newsletter. They have sold quite well and we do have some left. N Scale GP30's just arrived and we have a good selection currently!
Tangent: The PRR X58 cars arrived and we have a handful left. The newest 2929cf covered hoppers should be here in a couple days.
Walthers Mainline: 61' Woodchip hoppers, 63' pulpwood cars, 45' log flats, 40' 70 ton 3 bay hoppers, and 89' flatcars have all recently come in.
